A user with obesity (BMI > 60), limited leg function and painful leg oedema found conventional footrests unsafe. His legs slipped away between the supports, causing pressure points and injuries. Our solution was a custom-made foot box that provides stable, relieving and full-surface support. This noticeably improved his sitting posture and the user regained a degree of safety and independence in everyday life.

A user with obesity (BMI > 60) and microsomia (under 1.25 m) was unable to use a standard rollator. The handles and seat were too high and made every step unsafe and very painful. Only a custom-made device with a seat height of 29 cm and a push handle height of 69 cm provided the right ergonomics for him. The result was new mobility and the opportunity to be active and self-determined in everyday life again.

A user with paraplegia, severe scoliosis and obesity (BMI > 68) wanted to live an active and self-determined life despite major limitations. A standard wheelchair was not sufficient for this, and narrow door widths also became an obstacle in his everyday life. The solution was an individually modified tauron|rsi, which gave back freedom of movement thanks to its adapted overall width, active wheelbase and other details. This enabled the user to maintain his independence and his safety – both indoors and outdoors.

A patient with obesity (BMI > 60), spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and a neuromuscular disease was no longer able to manage going to the toilet and doing daily personal hygiene herself. Standard aids offered no solution. Only a custom-made device based on the tauron|dtr provided the necessary support: smooth-running 24″ drive wheels for effortless movements and a reduced turning radius with a full sturdy capacity of up to 250 kg. This made hygiene and self-determination possible again.
