A user with severe obesity (BMI > 60), limited leg function and painful leg oedema could not rely on standard footrests. His legs slipped away between supports, causing pressure points and increasing the risk of injuries. Our solution: a custom-made foot support box that stabilises, relieves pressure and provides full-surface support. The result was a clear improvement in posture, safety and everyday independence.

A user with severe obesity (BMI > 60) and microsomia (under 1.25 m) was unable to use standard rollators. The handles and seats were too high, making movement difficult and very painful. A tailored rollator with a seat height of 29 cm and a handle height of 69 cm provided the right ergonomic fit. The result: regained mobility and the freedom to stay active and independent.

A user with paraplegia, severe scoliosis and obesity (BMI > 68) wanted to maintain an active lifestyle despite significant limitations. Standard wheelchairs and narrow doorways restricted his mobility. An individually adapted tauron|rsi with adjusted overall width, optimised wheelbase and further modifications restored freedom of movement – both indoors and outdoors – enabling greater independence in everyday life.

A patient with severe obesity (BMI > 60), spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and a neuromuscular disease was no longer able to manage personal hygiene herself. Standard products wer not suitable. A custom-made solution based on the tauron|dtr provided the necessary support, including: smooth-running 24″ drive wheels for effortless movements, reduced turning radius and a user capacity of up to 250 kg. This made personal hygiene and self-determined living possible again.
