An idea that moves.
On the edge of the Black Forest in southern Germany, an idea was born in 1999: people with limited mobility should experience more freedom and independency. What began as a small supplier of mobility aid products grew steadily thanks to passion, proximity to medical retail and a keen sense for the needs of our users. With every new product launch, we developed a goal that still drives us today: Not only to give back mobility, but to shape quality of life.

Company foundation
Foundation of DIETZ GmbH by Rolf Stutz.
2002
Realignment
Strategic realignment with a focus on process optimization, organisational development and controlling. Rolf Stutz and Maximilian Raab manage the company together.
2003
International partnership
NOVA Orthopedic & Rehabilitation Appliances Inc. becomes a shareholder.
The partnership with the manufacturer enables a high degree of optimization of the entire process chain.
2008
New shareholder
Maximilian Raab becomes managing partner.
2010
Expansion
Opening of the location in Hamburg with associated product design center.
Engineering “Made in Germany”.
2014
New company building
Move to the new company headquarters in Karlsbad.
2016
Foundation of DIETZ SmartCare
Subsidiary DIETZ SmartCare establishes high-quality bathroom and toilet aids “Made in Germany”.
2017
Foundation of DIETZ Power
DIETZ Power produces powered wheelchairs and custom-made devices as a subsidiary in the Netherlands.
2018
Performance as a group
At REHACARE, the DIETZ GROUP will be presenting itself for the first time as a network of different business areas.
2019
New majority shareholder
Maximilian Raab becomes the main shareholder. As a result, DIETZ remains an owner-managed company in the long term.
2020/21
Sourcing program
A specially developed sourcing program ensures reliable product availability and delivery capability despite difficult conditions.
2022
Expansion of Karlsbad site
Extension at the Karlsbad site with an additional 3,200 square meters of storage and production space as well as workshops for custom-made devices.
2023
Hygiene center & production expansion
A state-of-the-art hygiene center for the reprocessing of medical devices goes into operation.
DIETZ acquires 100% of the shares in EUREHA GmbH.
DIETZ Power moves into a larger building and doubles its production capacity by the end of the year.
2024
New logistics center & academy
Opening of the new international logistics center in Lüneburg.
In addition, founding of the DIETZ Academy as a platform for sustainable expert knowledge in the rehabilitation industry.

Our medical devices are manufactured in compliance with all relevant legal requirements and standards (e.g. MDR, ISO 13485) and undergo strict testing and validation processes. Before a product leaves our company, it undergoes extensive testing.

We implement all the requirements placed on us as a medical device manufacturer with regard to quality management and quality assurance within our processes with the utmost care.
