B‑protect.
Your clear plus in hygiene safety.
Optimum protection where it matters most: In your bathroom.
Regular personal hygiene is not only a feel-good factor, but also an important contribution to your health. Especially in the bathroom, heat and humidity boost the growth of germs. This is especially true if you are dependent on additional medical aids. This makes reliable protection even more important.
Microbial chaos in the bathroom.
Bathrooms are a small microbial wonderland: surfaces such as shower heads, bathtub edges or toilet seats in particular can quickly become colonized by invisible germs. Not all microbes are dangerous. Nevertheless, careless wiping can quickly lead to germs creeping from one surface to another. Regular cleaning is therefore important to maintain the balance. In combination with hygienic medical aids and the antimicrobial product technology B-protect, surfaces remain permanently protected so that microbial chaos remains reliably under control.
More than 99% of viruses and bacteria get reduced.
The high effectiveness has been successfully confirmed in more than 2000 applications by independent institutes in accordance with ISO 22196 and ISO 21702. The result is a clear boost in hygiene safety.

How effective is B-protect?
Very effective. B-protect has been proven to inhibit the growth of microbes by more than 99% by independent institutes according to ISO 22196 and ISO 21702.
Is B-protect safe?
Yes, B-protect is based on silver ion technology that has been known for centuries and has no harmful effects. It is used in the medical, food and water sectors.

Does B-protect use nano-silver technology?
Why is B-protect better than other silver-based antimicrobial additives?
The manufacturer of BioMasterâ„¢ pioneered the application of antimicrobial technologies and remains a recognized market leader and all-round trusted supplier of antimicrobial finishes for polymers, textiles, paper, colours and coatings.
Has B-protect product technology been used for all components of a product?
It is not necessary to use B-protect product technology on all components of a product. Reasons for this are the nature of a material and/or contact with sensitive areas of skin that is not to be expected. This includes the following components:
Aluminium legs:
Few to no microbes settle on the very smooth surface of anodized aluminium.
Covers:
As the BioMaster material cannot be incorporated directly into the plastic, a special antibacterial plastic is used to manufacture them.
Turning and transfer aid:
As the PU cover on the turntable has antibacterial properties and the gliding properties of the material must be maintained, the BioMaster additive has been omitted here.
Rubber feet:
The rubber feet must primarily guarantee a secure stand and grip and generally do not come into contact with sensitive areas of skin.
Scissor system of the KANJO bath lift:
This scissor system is the main load-bearing part and is made of 50% fiberglass to ensure high stability. In addition, any skin contact must be avoided for operational reasons.
SmartFix toilet seat raiser bridge:
The bridge is the component that does not come into contact with the skin. All other components are made with B-protect product technology.
How do I know that B-protect product technology has been applied to a product?
